Before your appointment, we’ll send you an email with clear directions to the practice and advice on where to park.
We do have a small on-site car park, which is best suited to smaller vehicles. If it’s full, there are several pay-and-display car parks just a short walk away. We recommend allowing a little extra time so you can arrive feeling calm and unhurried.
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed through our glass front door by a member of our friendly reception team. Just let them know your name and they’ll check you in and help with any remaining paperwork.
You’ll be invited to take a seat in our waiting room until your appointment begins. Feel free to relax, enjoy the fish, and make use of our patient Wi-Fi (you’ll find the password displayed in the waiting area).
One of our nurses will come and collect you and take you through to the treatment room. Here, you’ll meet your Orthodontic Therapist, who will be looking after you today.
They’ll explain everything clearly and take the time to understand what you’d like to improve about your smile. Please feel free to share any questions or concerns—this is your time.
We’ll take a series of simple photographs of your teeth. These help us show you exactly what’s going on and talk through your options together. Your photos are completely confidential and only used with your consent.
Your therapist will then carry out a thorough but gentle examination, taking a closer look at your teeth and bite. They’ll record everything carefully so we have a full picture of your dental health.
Once we’ve gathered all the information, you’ll meet our Specialist Orthodontist, Dr Eva Lewin. She will carefully assess everything and talk you through the best treatment options for your smile.
This is the final step of your assessment, and by the end of your visit, you’ll have a clear understanding of what’s possible and what happens next.
